Tere,

Mure järgmine. Passat lõi mingil hetkel mõlemad jahutusventikad täiskäigule ja vcds näitas viga "engine coolant temp sensor (G62) P0116 - 000 - Implausible signal. Laseb vea ära kustutada ja vendid jäävad seisma, välistemp oli siis 0 kandis või miinuses pisut.
Vahepeal on nende andurite ja kaabeldusega igasugust tsirkust tehtud aga viga jääb ikka samaks. Peale vea kustutamist on kõik ok paar päeva kuni nädal ja suvalisel hetkel jälle viga tagasi.
Temp andurid mõlemad vahetatud korduvalt (Febi ja Vemo andurid hetkel peal), pistikud kontrollitud ja puhastatud, kaablid kuni ajuni mõõdetud ja läbi logistatud ja katkestust ei tuvastanud.

Kuhu edasi? Aju? Tarkvara? Kuusakoski?

EOBD II Error Code: P0116

Fault Location:
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62) - Range Performance Problem/Implausible Signal

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active. Starting the engine when engine is warmish or warm, idle rpm immediately is 1200 - 3000 rpm.
Diesel: an indication is extreme long time burning time of the glow indication light.
With all engine temperatures seldom idle rpm will vary between 900 - 1000 rpm.
With engine warm (90 °C) the engine temperature suddenly drops (70 °C) and slowly comes back to 90 °C.

Low engine coolant level.
Coolant thermostat.
Wiring/Connector(s).
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62).

Possible Solutions:
Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).
Difference in value between Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62) and Ambient Temperature Switch [F38] at engine start (depending on engine off time) > 24.75°C.
Check/Replace Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62).

Special Notes:
In MY 1995-2002 (?) in Europe at VW-cars the G2/G62 had the bad reputation of breaking down often. The default G2/G62 is black and all replacements are green.
Check if the correct Coolant Fan Control Module/Relay is installed (check part number using parts catalogue)!

When is the code detected?:
Coolant temperature signal sent to the Engine Control Module (ECM) is not within specified range.

Description:
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is used to detect the engine coolant temperature. The sensor modifies a voltage signal from the Engine Control Module (ECM). The modified signal returns to the Engine Control Module (ECM) as the engine coolant temperature input. The sensor uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature. The electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases as temperature increases.
